The practice of massage therapy is the assessment and treatments of soft tissues and joints of the clients’ specific physical ailment. It aids in the prevention of physical dysfunction and pain of the soft tissues and joints by manipulation to develop, maintain, rehabilitate or augment physical function or relieve pain. Soft tissues include muscles, tendons, ligaments, membranes, skin, and connective tissue.

Therapeutic massage is used to resolve a large number of conditions and include but not limited to:
